What Is the WordPress Admin Page?
The WordPress Admin Page, commonly known as WP Admin login or WP Dashboard is basically the back end of your website from where you can control or operate your entire website with WordPress. It’s the password protected control panel or WordPress login, where you make and oversee content, add more functionality in it or add modifications.
If you are planning to run a website with WordPress, then WordPress dashboard will be just like your shadow as you are going to spend all the time with it.
That’s why it is very important to know how to use and master WP Admin panel for managing your website.
How to Access WP Admin?
Your website Admin panel is by default set to /wp-admin, unless you have not made changes deliberately.
After installing WordPress, you may access it by adding /wp-admin at end of your website address. For example, your website name is example.com, then your WordPress login for Admin panel is located at example.com/wp-admin

Since every website with WordPress by default, is using same WordPress admin URL for WordPress login, this makes it prone to hackers and it may compromise security. For beginners there is nothing to worry about but once a website starts growing and getting famous then we strongly suggest to change its URL from /wp-admin to some other URL.
Changing this URL is not difficult and we shall discuss how to change it in our article.
